When I hear y’all call for the demilitarization of the military, I literally hear “this is too had to watch. shoot at the darkies with regular guns, surround them with regular cop cars”. Don’t get me wrong; tanks shouldn’t be rolling down the street in any neighborhood or any country for that matter. However the demilitarization topic has gotten way more coverage and think pieces than the force being used against black people protesting. Whether it’s an assault rifle or a baton, a tank or a dog, a badge or camos, black people are still being attacked for voicing their dissent.
